About Me

Everything I know about being a Mum and baking I have learnt from the two most amazing women I have ever known.

I remember being excited every time Grandma even  mentioned baking her amazing Chocolate or Marble Cake. She has inspired me in so many ways.

A traditional homemaker and strong character who always put her family first, she was full of love and affection for everyone until the day she passed away at the magnificent age of 97.

Her strength, love for her family and baking skills have been passed down to my amazing Mum and best friend. I must have inherited my cake decorating skills from her as I remember the birthday cakes she used to make for me and my brother when we were kids. Unfortunately we lost our chief cake taster 10 years ago, Dad you are definitely missing out but I know you are watching over us all.

I began baking and decorating cakes when my children were younger and found that I had a flare for it. I have made various cakes and personalised gifts for friends and family over the last few years and have been told that I should set up a business. So here I am at the beginning of what I hope to be a truly wonderful journey doing something which I love and that brings joy into the lives of others. With the help and support of my incredible partner Paul, my 3 wonderful boys and step children I am ready to begin my new venture.

I have had numerous jobs and experiences throughout my life, however baking, decorating and creating have always been my favourite hobbies and most enjoyable pastimes.
